What is it?

This tool stamps a text watermark onto an image, entirely in your browser, with a live preview and your choice of text, position, rotation, size, opacity, and color. The watermark text field accepts multiple lines for a multi-line stamp.

Formula Explanation

The image is drawn onto a canvas at its full resolution, then your watermark text is drawn on top at the position you selected — a corner, an edge midpoint, or dead center — optionally rotated 45 degrees, at the opacity you set. The preview updates live as you adjust any control, and the downloaded file matches exactly what's shown.

Example Calculation

Entering "DRAFT" at 30% opacity with Position set to Center and rotation on stamps a large, translucent diagonal "DRAFT" across the middle of the photo; switching to Bottom Right with rotation off instead places a small, upright "DRAFT" label in the corner.

How to Use

  2. Enter the watermark text — press Enter for a second line if you want a multi-line stamp.
  3. Choose a position and whether it should rotate diagonally.
  4. Adjust font size, opacity, and color while watching the live preview.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No, all processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API — your images never leave your device.

Can I add more than one line of watermark text?

Yes — press Enter in the watermark text box to start a new line. All lines are stacked and centered/aligned together.

Can I use an image or logo as a watermark instead of text?

Not in this version — only text watermarks are currently supported.

Can I remove a watermark this tool added?

Not with this tool — once downloaded, the watermark is part of the image's pixels. Keep your original file if you might need an unwatermarked copy later.
